A08 – Party horn – an unassuming exercise for lip strength and lip closure

A few minutes a day is enough to support the breathing pattern without turning the evening into a lesson.

Party horn    For this exercise you will need a party horn. Sit up straight. Place your feet flat on the floor, bend your knees at a right angle and keep your torso perpendicular to the floor. Keep your head straight, facing forward. Tilt your head back slightly, keeping your body and chin in the same position. Rest the horn on your lower lip and lower your head, pressing your upper lip lightly against the mouthpiece. Blow into the horn so that it makes a sound. While exhaling, quickly pull the horn out of your mouth, stopping the sound.    Repeat this sequence 5 times.
